A reception will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Hillcrest Library for students earning recognition from the National Television Academy in its 2008 "Excellence" competition. Students on the staff of "HTV Magazine" earned one national, three regional, and two honorable mention awards.
The renovation of the HTV studio/classroom will begin June 2. The entire contents of the current room will be moved out by May 30 so work can begin. Initial plans call for completion of the project by July 18.
CBS News photographer Les Rose will join the staff of "Camp STN" this summer at Hillcrest. Rose will be in Springfield July 13 to participate in the workshop for returning teachers.
The 2008 Hillcrest Media Banquet is scheduled for May 22. Tickets will go on sale in the HHS financial office on May 14. |

Fashion and Fun
Statewide testing days meant non-testing options for the freshmen and seniors who were not involved. They enjoyed a number of activities on and off campus.
